Functions of a Real Variable, chapter V, Appendix 0. Hardy Fields. (H) Functions

The field of (H) functions is called the (H) extension of the Hardy field R(x)\mathbf{R}(x) of rational functions with real coefficients. Any function belonging to this extension is called an (H) function.

Following this definition, if ff is an (H) function, not identically zero on a neighbourhood of +∞+\infty, then efe^f and log⁡∣f∣\log |f| are also (H) functions. More generally, if gg is a second (H) function, and u1,u2,…,unu_1, u_2, \ldots, u_n a definition sequence for gg, and if f(x)f(x) tends to +∞+\infty with xx, one sees by induction on nn that the composite functions u1∘f,u2∘f,…,un∘fu_1 \circ f, u_2 \circ f, \ldots, u_n \circ f and g∘fg \circ f are (H) functions.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
