Integration, III, p. 31, § 2. Support of a measure

Let μ\mu be a measure on XX. For a measure ν\nu on XX to be in the vague closure of the set of measures g⋅μg \cdot \mu, where gg runs over K(X;C)\mathscr{K}(X; \mathbf{C}), it is necessary and sufficient that Supp⁡(ν)⊂Supp⁡(μ)\operatorname{Supp}(\nu) \subset \operatorname{Supp}(\mu).

For, Supp⁡(g⋅μ)⊂Supp⁡(μ)\operatorname{Supp}(g \cdot \mu) \subset \operatorname{Supp}(\mu) by No. 3, Prop. 10; therefore the support of every vague limit of measures of the form g⋅μg \cdot \mu is also contained in Supp⁡(μ)\operatorname{Supp}(\mu) (No. 2, Prop. 6). Conversely, if Supp⁡(ν)⊂Supp⁡(μ)\operatorname{Supp}(\nu) \subset \operatorname{Supp}(\mu) then ν\nu is the vague limit of measures with finite support contained in Supp⁡(μ)\operatorname{Supp}(\mu) (Th. 1), hence is in the vague closure of the set of measures g⋅μg \cdot \mu by Prop. 13.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
