Integration, chapter IV, § 1. Upper integral of a positive function

— Let ff be a function in J+J_+. The mapping μ↦μ∗(f)\mu \mapsto \mu^*(f) of the set M+(X)\mathscr{M}_+(X) of positive measures on XX, into the extended real line R‾\overline{\mathbf{R}}, is lower semi-continuous for the vague topology on M+(X)\mathscr{M}_+(X) (Ch. III, §1, No. 9).

For, this mapping is by definition the upper envelope of the mappings μ↦μ(g)\mu \mapsto \mu(g), where gg runs over the set of functions in K+\mathscr{K}_+ such that g≤fg \leq f; and by definition of the vague topology, the mappings μ↦μ(g)\mu \mapsto \mu(g) are continuous on M(X)\mathscr{M}(X).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
