Integration, chapter IV, § 3. LP spaces

— Let F be a Banach space over the field C\mathbf{C} of complex numbers; then, for every function f∈FFpf \in \mathscr{F}_\mathbf{F}^p and every complex number α\alpha, αf\alpha f belongs to FFp\mathscr{F}_\mathbf{F}^p and Np(αf)=∣α∣Np(f)N_p(\alpha f) = |\alpha| N_p(f); in other words, FFp\mathscr{F}_\mathbf{F}^p is also a vector space over C\mathbf{C}, and Np(f)N_p(f) is a semi-norm on this complex vector space (TVS, II, §1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
