Integration, IV, p. 24, § 3. LP spaces

Let ff be a numerical function (finite or not) defined almost everywhere; if, for every ε>0\varepsilon > 0, there exists two pp-th power integrable functions g,hg, h such that g≤f≤hg \leq f \leq h almost everywhere and Np(h−g)≤εN_p(h - g) \leq \varepsilon, then ff is pp-th power integrable.

For, ff is finite almost everywhere and Np(f−g)≤Np(h−g)≤εN_p(f - g) \leq N_p(h - g) \leq \varepsilon; Prop. 7 therefore shows that ff is pp-th power integrable.

Since, by definition, LFp\mathscr{L}_\mathbf{F}^p is a closed subspace of FFp\mathscr{F}_\mathbf{F}^p, and since the latter space is complete (No. 3, Prop. 5), we have the following result (GT, II, §3, No. 4, Prop. 8):

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
