Integration, chapter IV, § 5. Measurable functions and sets

— Given a locally compact subspace Y of a locally compact space X, we call measure induced on Y by a measure μ\mu on X, and denote by μY\mu_Y or μ∣Y\mu|Y, the measure defined by the formula

∫g dμY=∫g′ dμ \int g \, d\mu_Y = \int g' \, d\mu

for every function g∈K(Y;C)g \in \mathscr{K}(Y; \mathbf{C}), where g′g' denotes the function equal to gg on YY and to 0 on X−YX - Y.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
