Integration, chapter IV, § 7. Barycenters

Every function h∈Hh \in \mathscr{H} attains its supremum at at least one H\mathscr{H}*-extremal point*.

Let xx be a point of XX, hh a function in H\mathscr{H}. The relation h(z)≤h(x)h(z) \leq h(x) for all z∈Xz \in X may be written ⟨h,iH(z)⟩≤⟨h,iH(x)⟩\langle h, i_{\mathscr{H}}(z) \rangle \leq \langle h, i_{\mathscr{H}}(x) \rangle for all z∈Xz \in X, and therefore means that the weakly closed hyperplane of H′\mathscr{H}' with equation ⟨h,t′⟩=⟨h,iH(x)⟩\langle h, t' \rangle = \langle h, i_{\mathscr{H}}(x) \rangle is a support hyperplane of iH(X)i_{\mathscr{H}}(X). It is known (TVS, II, §7, No. 1, Cor. of Prop. 1) that such a hyperplane contains at least one extremal point of the closed convex envelope of iH(X)i_{\mathscr{H}}(X), and such a point iH(y)i_{\mathscr{H}}(y) is the image of an H\mathscr{H}-extremal point yy by definition; h(y)h(y) is therefore equal to the supremum of hh in XX.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
