Integration, chapter VIII, § 4. Convolution of measures and functions

— Let f,gf, g be in L(G)\mathscr{L}(G). Assume that one of the functions f,gf, g is continuous, and that one of the functions f,gf, g has compact support. Then ff and gg are convolvable. The formula (15) defines for all x∈Gx \in G a product f∗gf * g that is continuous. If f∈K(G)f \in \mathscr{K}(G) and g∈K(G)g \in \mathscr{K}(G), then f∗g∈K(G)f * g \in \mathscr{K}(G).

This follows from Props. 3 and 4 of No. 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
