Integration, chapter VIII, § 4. Convolution of measures and functions

— If fχ−1∈L1(G,β)f \chi^{-1} \in L^1(G, \beta) and g∈K(G)‾g \in \overline{\mathscr{K}(G)}, or if f∈K(G)f \in \mathscr{K}(G) and gχ′−1∈L1(G,β)g {\chi'}^{-1} \in L^1(G, \beta), then ff and gg are convolvable, and (15) defines for every x∈Gx \in G a product f∗gf * g that belongs to K(G)\mathscr{K}(G).

This follows from Prop. 5 of No. 2, and the remarks in No. 4.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
