Integration, IX, p. 60, § 5. Measures on completely regular spaces

The weak topology on Mb(T)\mathscr{M}^b(T) associated with the preceding duality between Cb(T)\mathscr{C}^b(T) and Mb(T)\mathscr{M}^b(T) is called the topology of tight convergence (or the tight topology) on Mb(T)\mathscr{M}^b(T).

The tight topology is Hausdorff, by the remarks preceding the definition. We shall often employ the adverb 'tightly' to mean 'in the sense of the tight topology'. Absent mention to the contrary, Mb(T)\mathscr{M}^b(T) will be equipped with the tight topology throughout the rest of this section.

Every element of Cb(T)\mathscr{C}^b(T) is a linear combination of elements of C+b(T)\mathscr{C}_+^b(T). For a filter F\mathfrak{F} on Mb(T)\mathscr{M}^b(T) to converge tightly to a bounded measure λ\lambda, it is necessary and sufficient that

lim⁡μμ(f)=λ(f)with respect to F for every f∈C+b(T). \lim_{\mu} \mu(f) = \lambda(f) \quad \text{with respect to } \mathfrak{F} \text{ for every } f \in \mathscr{C}_+^b(T).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
