Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter I, § 2. Enveloping algebra of a Lie algebra

There exists an α\alpha-mapping σ\sigma of gg into LK(P)\mathscr{L}_{K}(P) such that:

(1) σ(xλ)zM=zλzM\sigma(x_{\lambda})z_{M} = z_{\lambda}z_{M} for λ≤M\lambda \leq M; (2) σ(xλ)zM≡zλzM\sigma(x_{\lambda})z_{M} \equiv z_{\lambda}z_{M} (mod. PpP_{p}) if MM has pp elements.

By Lemma 1 there exists a homomorphism ff of the K-module g⊗KPpg \otimes_{K} P_{p} into PP satisfying, for all pp, conditions (Ap_{p}), (Bp_{p}), (Cp_{p}) (where fpf_{p} is replaced by ff). This homomorphism defines a homomorphism σ\sigma of the K-module gg into the K-module LK(P)\mathscr{L}_{K}(P) and σ\sigma is an α\alpha-mapping because of condition (Cp_{p}). Finally, σ\sigma satisfies properties (1) and (2) of the lemma because of conditions (Ap_{p}) and (Bp_{p}).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
