Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter II, § 2. Free Lie algebras

Let h′\mathfrak{h}' be a Lie K′K'-algebra and h\mathfrak{h} the Lie K-algebra derived from h′\mathfrak{h}' by restricting the ring of scalars. If P∈LK(X)P \in L_K(X), we can define P~:hX→h\tilde{P} : \mathfrak{h}^X \to \mathfrak{h} (no. 4). We see immediately that

P~=(v(P⊗1))−. \tilde{P} = (v(P \otimes 1))^{-}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
