Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 3. Passage from a Lie group to its Lie algebra
Consider the bilinear mapping (resp. ) of into . The corresponding linear mapping of into is a vector space isomorphism.
is the direct sum of the for . On the other hand, the mapping (resp. ) is an isomorphism of the vector space onto the vector space by Proposition 3. Finally, is the direct sum of the for .
Let X be a manifold of class () and . We have defined (Differentiable and Analytic Manifolds, R, 13.3.1) a canonical filtration on the vector space and a canonical isomorphism of the associated graded vector space onto the graded vector space TS(T_x(X)). In particular, let ; then is an isomorphism of the graded vector space gr U(G) onto the graded vector space TS(L). But U(G) is a filtered algebra, from which we obtain a graded algebra structure on gr U(G).
Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
