Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 3. Passage from a Lie group to its Lie algebra

Suppose that KK is of characteristic 0. Let GG be a Lie group, EE a finite-dimensional vector space and π\pi an analytic linear representation of GG on EE. Let E1,E2E_1, E_2 be vector subspaces of EE such that E2⊂E1E_2 \subset E_1. The set G1G_1 of g∈Gg \in G such that π(g)x≡x\pi(g)x \equiv x (mod. E2E_2) for all x∈E1x \in E_1 is a Lie subgroup of GG and L(G1)L(G_1) is the set of a∈L(G)a \in L(G) such that L(π)aL(\pi)a maps E1E_1 into E2E_2.

This follows from Propositions 29 (no. 8) and 36 (no. 10).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
