Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 4. Passage from Lie algebras to Lie groups

The Lie group structure on HH defined in Proposition 9 is called the structure induced on HH by the Lie group structure on GG.

If HH is a Lie subgroup of GG, its Lie group structure is induced by that on GG (Differentiable and Analytic Manifolds, R, 5.8.5).

If G=RG = \mathbf{R} and H=QH = \mathbf{Q}, then h={0}\mathfrak{h} = \{0\} and hence the structure induced on HH is the discrete Lie group structure. Similarly if G=CG = \mathbf{C} (considered as a complex Lie group) and H=RH = \mathbf{R}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
