Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 4. Passage from Lie algebras to Lie groups

*Let GG be a Lie group germ and XX a paracompact manifold of class CrC^r (r≥2r \geq 2). Let a↦Daa \mapsto D_a be a law of left infinitesimal operation of class Cr−1C^{r-1} of L(G)L(G) on XX.

(i) There exists a law chunk of left operation of class Cr−1C^{r-1} of GG on XX such that the associated law of infinitesimal operation is a↦Daa \mapsto D_a.

(ii) Two laws of left operation of class Cr−1C^{r-1} of GG on XX which admit a↦Daa \mapsto D_a as associated law of infinitesimal operation coincide on a neighbourhood of {e}×X\{e\} \times X.

Assertion (ii) follows from the Corollary to Proposition 11. By Theorem 6 (i), there exist an open covering (Xi)i∈I(X_i)_{i \in I} of XX and, for all i∈Ii \in I, a law chunk of left operation ψi\psi_i of Class Cr−1C^{r-1} of GG on XiX_i such that the associated law of infinitesimal operation is a↦Da∣Xia \mapsto D_a|_{X_i}. As XX is paracompact, the covering (Xi)i∈I(X_i)_{i \in I} can be assumed to be locally finite. For all (i,j)∈I×I(i, j) \in I \times I and all x∈Xi∩Xjx \in X_i \cap X_j, ψi\psi_i and ψj\psi_j coincide on a neighbourhood of (e,x)(e, x) (Corollary to Proposition 11). As XX is normal, we can apply Proposition 24 of § 1, no. 11, which proves (i).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
