Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter III, § 9. Commutators, centralizers and normalizers in a Lie group

Let G be a finite-dimensional connected real or complex Lie group with Lie algebra g. The subgroups DiGD^iG (resp. CiGC^iG) are integral subgroups with Lie algebras DigD^i\mathfrak{g} (resp. CigC^i\mathfrak{g}). If G is simply connected, they are Lie subgroups.

The first assertion follows from Proposition 4 by induction on ii. The second follows from the first and § 6, no. 6, Proposition 14.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
