Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter V, § 3. Groups of displacements generated by reflections

Assume that WW is essential. Let aa be a special point, let L(a)L(a) be the set of its transforms under the group of translations LL, and let CC be a chamber. Then C‾\overline{C} meets L(a)L(a) in a unique point; this point is an extremal point of C‾\overline{C}.

There exists a chamber C1C_1 such that aa is an extremal point of C‾1\overline{C}_1 (Cor. of Prop. 11). Every chamber is of the form C=tw′(C1)C = t w'(C_1) with w′∈Waw' \in W_a and t∈Lt \in L since W=Wa.LW = W_a . L; thus tw′(a)=t(a)∈L(a)t w'(a) = t(a) \in L(a) is an extremal point of C‾\overline{C}. On the other hand, C‾\overline{C} cannot contain two distinct points of L(a)L(a) since C‾\overline{C} is a fundamental domain for WW (no. 3, Th. 2).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
