Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter V, § 6. The Coxeter transformation

If W is irreducible and h is even, the unique element of W that transforms C to −C is ch/2c^{h/2}.

We use the notation in the proof of Th. 1. Since c∣Pc|P is a rotation through an angle 2πh\frac{2\pi}{h}, ch/2c^{h/2} transforms z′z' to −z′-z', z′′z'' to −z′′-z'', and hence z′+z′′=zz' + z'' = z to −z-z. Now z∈Cz \in C, so the chamber ch/2(C)c^{h/2}(C) is necessarily −C-C.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
