General Topology, chapter I, § 5. Open mappings and closed mappings

Let X,YX, Y be two topological spaces, ff a mapping of XX into Y,BY, \mathfrak{B} a base of the topology of XX. Then the following statements are equivalent:

a) ff is an open mapping.

b) For each U∈BU \in \mathfrak{B}, f(U)f(U) is open in YY.

c) For each x∈Xx \in X and each neighbourhood VV of xx in XX, f(V)f(V) is a neighbourhood of f(x)f(x) in YY.

The equivalence of a) and b) follows immediately from the definitions and from (O1)(O_1); the equivalence of a) and c) is a consequence of Proposition 1 of § 1, no. 2.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
