General Topology, chapter I, § 6. Filters

A set Φ\Phi of filters on a non-empty set XX has a least upper bound in the set of all filters on XX if and only if, for all finite sequences (Fi)1≤i≤n(\mathfrak{F}_i)_{1 \leq i \leq n} of elements of Φ\Phi and all Ai∈FiA_i \in \mathfrak{F}_i (1≤i≤n1 \leq i \leq n), the intersection A1∩⋯∩AnA_1 \cap \cdots \cap A_n is not empty.

For this condition expresses that the union G\mathfrak{G} of the filters F∈Φ\mathfrak{F} \in \Phi satisfies the condition of Proposition 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
