General Topology, chapter I, § 6. Filters

A set B\mathfrak{B} of subsets of a set XX which satisfies axioms (B_I) and (B_{II}) is said to be a base of the filter it generates. Two filter bases are said to be equivalent if they generate the same filter.

If G\mathfrak{G} is a subbase of a filter F\mathfrak{F}, then the set G′\mathfrak{G}' of finite intersections of sets of G\mathfrak{G} is a base of F\mathfrak{F} (no. 2).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
