General Topology, chapter I, § 6. Filters

Every filter F\mathfrak{F} on a set XX is the intersection of the ultrafilters finer than F\mathfrak{F}.

Clearly this intersection contains F\mathfrak{F}. Conversely, let AA be a subset of XX which does not belong to F\mathfrak{F}, and let A′A' denote ∁A\complement A; AA contains no set of F\mathfrak{F}; hence every M∈FM \in \mathfrak{F} meets A′A' and therefore (no. 2, Proposition 1, Corollary 1) there is a filter F′\mathfrak{F}' which is finer than F\mathfrak{F} and contains A′A'. If U\mathfrak{U} is an ultrafilter finer than F′\mathfrak{F}' (Theorem 1) it follows that A∉UA \notin \mathfrak{U}. This completes the proof.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
