General Topology, chapter I, § 6. Filters

Let F\mathfrak{F} be a filter on a set XX, and AA a subset of XX. Then there is a filter F′\mathfrak{F}' which is finer than F\mathfrak{F} and such that A∈F′A \in \mathfrak{F}', if and only if AA meets all the sets of F\mathfrak{F}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
