General Topology, chapter I, § 10. Proper mappings

If (fi)i∈I(f_i)_{i \in I} is a family of continuous mappings fi:Xi→Yif_i : X_i \to Y_i, each of which satisfies condition d) of Theorem 1, then the product mapping

f:(xi)→(fi(xi)) f : (x_i) \to (f_i(x_i))
also satisfies d).

Let UU be an ultrafilter on X=∏iXiX = \prod_i X_i, and let y=(yi)y = (y_i) be a point of Y=∏iYiY = \prod_i Y_i such that f(U)f(U) converges to yy. This means that each of the ultrafilter bases pr⁡i(f(U))=fi(pr⁡i(U))\operatorname{pr}_i(f(U)) = f_i(\operatorname{pr}_i(U)) converges to yiy_i (§ 7, no. 6, Proposition 10, Corollary 1). By virtue of condition d), for each i∈Ii \in I there exists xi∈Xix_i \in X_i such that fi(xi)=yif_i(x_i) = y_i and pr⁡i(U)\operatorname{pr}_i(U) converges to xix_i; but then UU converges to x=(xi)x = (x_i) (loc. cit.) and we have f(x)=yf(x) = y. This completes the proof of Lemma 2 and hence of Theorem 1.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
