General Topology, chapter I, § 11. Connectedness

A discrete space which has more than one point is not connected.

Observe that if (Ui)i∈I(U_i)_{i \in I} is a partition of a topological space XX consisting of open sets [necessarily non-empty, from the definition of a partition (Set Theory, R, , no. 4)] then each of the UiU_i is both open and closed in XX, for the complement of UiU_i is the union of the UxU_x for which x≠ix \neq i. The open subsets of XX are the subsets AA such that A∩UiA \cap U_i is open in UiU_i for each i∈Ii \in I, so that XX can be identified with the sum of the UiU_i (§2\S 2, no. 4, Example 3) and is not connected if II has more than one element

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
