General Topology, chapter V, § 1. Subgroups and quotient groups of R

Note that the canonical mapping φ\varphi of R\mathbf{R} onto T=R/ZT = \mathbf{R}/\mathbf{Z}, restricted to the half-open interval [a,a+1[[a, a+1[, is a continuous bijective mapping of this interval onto TT; the inverse mapping is continuous at every point of TT other than φ(a)\varphi(a), but discontinuous at φ(a)\varphi(a). We shall sometimes identify the space TT with the interval [a,a+1[[a, a+1[, endowed with the topology which is the inverse image under φ\varphi of the topology of TT (Chapter I, § 1, no. 3); this topology is of course not the same as that induced on [a,a+1[[a, a+1[ by the topology of R\mathbf{R}.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
