Algebra, VIII, p. 307, § 16. Other Descriptions of the Brauer Group

a) For every g∈G,σ∈Og\in G,\sigma \in \mathscr{O}, and m∈σ\mathfrak{m}\in \sigma, we have

[Lσ:K]=[L_{\sigma}: K] = Card(σ\sigma )[L/m:K][L/\mathfrak{m}: K].

b) The mapping π:x↦(πσ(x))σ∈O\pi :x\mapsto (\pi_{\sigma}(x))_{\sigma\in\mathscr{O}} is an isomorphism of (K,G)(K,G)-algebras from L to ∏σ∈OLσ\prod_{\sigma\in\mathscr{O}}L_{\sigma}.

c) Denote by LG(L^G(resp. LσG)L^G_{\sigma}) the subalgebra of L (resp. LσL_{\sigma}) of elements invariant under the action of G. Then π\pi induces an isomorphism from LGL^G to ∏σ∈OLσG\prod_{\sigma\in\mathscr{O}}L^G_{\sigma}.

Since the algebra L is reduced and of finite degree, the intersection of the maximal ideals of L is reduced to 0 (VIII, p. 173, Corollary 2). Moreover, if m\mathfrak{m} and m′\mathfrak{m}' are two distinct maximal ideals of L, then we have m+m′=L\mathfrak{m}+\mathfrak{m}'= L. By Proposition 10 of I, §8, No. 11, p. 110, the canonical mapping from L to ∏m∈SL/m\prod_{\mathfrak{m}\in\mathscr{S}}L/\mathfrak{m} is an isomorphism, as is the canonical mapping from L/aσL/\mathfrak{a}_{\sigma} to ∏m∈σL/m\prod_{\mathfrak{m}\in\sigma}L/\mathfrak{m} for every σ∈O\sigma \in \mathscr{O}. Assertion a) follows. Since O\mathscr{O} is a partition of S\mathscr{S}, assertion b) follows; assertion c) is an immediate consequence of b).

Let us now fix an orbit σ∈O\sigma \in \mathscr{O} and an element m\mathfrak{m} of σ\sigma. Set FmF_{\mathfrak{m}} = CoindGmG(L/m)^G_{G_{\mathfrak{m}}}(L/\mathfrak{m}), and denote by λFm\lambda_{F_{\mathfrak{m}}} the action of G on FmF_{\mathfrak{m}}. For any x∈Lx\in L, denote by x‾\overline{x} the mapping from G to L/mL/\mathfrak{m} that sends gg to πm(gx)\pi_{\mathfrak{m}}(gx). By formula (15) of VIII, p. 305 and the definition of the action of GmG_{\mathfrak{m}} on L/mL/\mathfrak{m}, it is immediate that x‾\overline{x} belongs to FmF_{\mathfrak{m}}, and the mapping u:x↦x‾u:x\mapsto \overline{x} from L to FmF_{\mathfrak{m}} satisfies λFm(g)∘u=u∘λ(g)\lambda_{F_{\mathfrak{m}}}(g)\circ u=u\circ \lambda (g) for g∈Gg\in G. In other words, uu is a morphism of (K(K, G)-algebras.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
