The morphism uu is surjective with kernel aσ\mathfrak{a}_{\sigma}. The mapping deduced from uu by passing to the quotient is an isomorphism of (K,G)(K,G)-algebras from LσL_{\sigma} to FmF_{\mathfrak{m}}.

Since the kernel of πm\pi_{\mathfrak{m}} is equal to m\mathfrak{m}, that of uu is equal to ⋂g∈Gg−1.m=aσ\bigcap_{g\in G}g^{-1}.\mathfrak{m}=\mathfrak{a}_{\sigma}. To prove that uu is surjective, it suffices to prove that the vector spaces Lσ=L_{\sigma}= L/aσL/\mathfrak{a}_{\sigma} and FmF_{\mathfrak{m}} have the same dimension over K. Now, all ideals g⋅mg\cdot \mathfrak{m} have the same codimension in L, and, by Lemma 8, a),

[Lσ:K]=[L_{\sigma}: K] = Card(σ\sigma ).[L/m:K].[L/\mathfrak{m}: K].

Moreover, by Lemma 7, b), we have

[Fm:K]=(G:Gm)[L/m:K] [F_{\mathfrak{m}}: K] = (G : G_{\mathfrak{m}})[L/\mathfrak{m}: K]

Since we have Card(σ\sigma ) =(G:Gm)= (G : G_{\mathfrak{m}}), we have proved the equality [Lσ:K]=[L_{\sigma}: K] = [Fm:K][F_{\mathfrak{m}}: K].

We now suppose, furthermore, that the homomorphism λ\lambda from G to AutK(L)_K(L) is injective. We identify K with its image in L through the mapping ξ↦ξ⋅1\xi \mapsto \xi \cdot 1. Let Ω be an algebraically closed extension of K. The set F(G,Ω)\mathscr{F}(G,\Omega ) of mappings from G to Ω coincides with the coinduced (Ω(\Omega, G)-algebra Coind{e}G(Ω)^G_{\{e\}}(\Omega ). It is a free Ω[G]-module of rank 1. Let H\mathscr{H} be the set of K-algebra homomorphisms from L to Ω. We define a right action of G on H\mathscr{H} by (g,χ)↦χ∘λ(g)(g, \chi )\mapsto \chi \circ \lambda (g). The Ω-algebra F(H,Ω)\mathscr{F}(\mathscr{H},\Omega ) is then endowed with the structure of an (Ω(\Omega, G)-algebra deduced from the right action of G on H\mathscr{H}.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
