Algebra, VIII, p. 341, § 17. Reduced Norms and Traces

Consider the specific case when A is the algebra EndK(V)_K(V) of endomorphisms of a finite-dimensional K-vector space V. Taking M to be the simple A-module V, we obtain the relations

PcrdA/K(u;X)=χu(X)_{A/K}(u; X) =\chi_u(X),

(27) NrdA/K(u)=_{A/K}(u) = det(uu),

TrdA/K(u)=_{A/K}(u) = Tr(uu)

for every endomorphism uu of V.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
