Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 2. Root system of a split semi-simple Lie algebra

The root system R∨R^{\vee} in h\mathfrak{h} defines a non-degenerate symmetric bilinear form β\beta on h\mathfrak{h} (Chap. VI, §1, no. 1, Prop. 3), namely the form (a,b)→(a, b) \rightarrow ∑α∈R⟨α,a⟩⟨α,b⟩\sum_{\alpha\in R}\langle \alpha , a\rangle \langle \alpha , b\rangle. By the Cor. to Th. 1, this form is just the restriction of the

Killing form to h\mathfrak{h}. The extension of β∣hQ×hQ\beta |\mathfrak{h}_{\mathbf{Q}}\times \mathfrak{h}_{\mathbf{Q}} to hQ⊗QR\mathfrak{h}_{\mathbf{Q}}\otimes_{\mathbf{Q}}\mathbf{R} is positive non-degenerate (Chap. VI, §1, no. 1, Prop. 3). On the other hand, we see that the inverse form on h∗\mathfrak{h}^* of the restriction to h\mathfrak{h} of the Killing form on g\mathfrak{g} is the canonical bilinear form ΦR\Phi_R of R (Chap. VI, §1, no. 12).

Let (g1,h1),(g2,h2)(\mathfrak{g}_1,\mathfrak{h}_1), (\mathfrak{g}_2,\mathfrak{h}_2) be split semi-simple Lie algebras, φ\varphi an isomorphism from g1\mathfrak{g}_1 to g2\mathfrak{g}_2 such that φ(h1)=h2\varphi (\mathfrak{h}_1) =\mathfrak{h}_2. By transport of structure, the transpose of the map φ∣h1\varphi |\mathfrak{h}_1 takes R(g2,h2)R(\mathfrak{g}_2,\mathfrak{h}_2) to R(g1,h1)R(\mathfrak{g}_1,\mathfrak{h}_1).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
