Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 2. Maximal tori of compact Lie groups

Let T and T′T' be two maximal tori of G, A a subset of T and ss an automorphism of G that takes A into T′T'. There exists g∈Gg\in G such that s∘s\circ (Int gg) takes T to T′T' and coincides with ss on A.

Let C be the centralizer of A. Then T and s−1(T′)s^{-1}(T') are two maximal tori of C0C_0; every element gg of C0C_0 such that (Int gg)(T)=s−1(T′)(T) =s^{-1}(T') has the desired properties.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
