Commutative Algebra, chapter I, § 2. Flat modules

Let AA be a ring, EE a right AA-module and MM a left AA-module. EE is said to be flat for MM (or MM-flat) if, for every left AA-module M′M' and every injective homomorphism v:M′→Mv : M' \to M, the homomorphism lE⊗v:E⊗AM′→E⊗AMl_E \otimes v : E \otimes_A M' \to E \otimes_A M is injective.

For any right AA-module NN, the notion of an NN-flat left module is defined similarly. To say that a right AA-module EE is flat for a left AA-module MM is equivalent to saying that EE, considered as a left A0A^0-module (recall that A0A^0 denotes the opposite ring to AA), is flat for the right A0A^0-module MM.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
