Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 3. Local rings. Passage from the local to the global

Let AA be a ring, m1,m2,…,mnm_1, m_2, \ldots, m_n distinct maximal ideals of AA, MM an AA-module and k1,k2,…,knk_1, k_2, \ldots, k_n integers ⩾0\geqslant 0. The canonical homomorphism from MM to ∏nMm/mi1k1Mm\prod^n M_m/m_{i_1}^{k_1} M_m is surjective and its kernel is (⋂nmi1k1)M\left( \bigcap^n m_{i_1}^{k_1} \right) M.

This follows easily from Proposition 9 and §1§ 1, no. 2, Proposition 6, the mi1k1m_{i_1}^{k_1} being relatively prime in pairs (§1§ 1, no. 2, Proposition 3).

In the rest of this no. AA will denote a ring and Ω(A)\Omega(A) (or Ω\Omega) the set of maximal ideals of AA.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
