Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 2. General results on filtered rings and modules

Let AA be a complete filtered ring and EE a filtered AA-module whose filtration is exhaustive and separated. If gr(E)\mathrm{gr}(E) is a finitely generated (resp. Noetherian) gr(A)\mathrm{gr}(A)-module, then EE is a finitely generated (resp. Noetherian) AA-module.

If gr(E)\mathrm{gr}(E) is finitely generated, there is a finite system of homogeneous generators and Proposition 12 shows that EE is finitely generated. Suppose now that gr(E)\mathrm{gr}(E) is Noetherian and let FF be a submodule of EE; the filtration induced on FF by that on EE is exhaustive and separated and gr(F)\mathrm{gr}(F) is identified with a sub-gr(A)-module of gr(E) (no. 4, Proposition 2) and hence is finitely generated by hypothesis; we conclude that F is a finitely generated A-module and hence E is Noetherian.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
