Commutative Algebra, chapter V, § 2. The lift of prime ideals

Let AA be a ring, A′A' a ring containing AA and integral over AA and ff a homomorphism from AA to an algebraically closed field LL. Then ff can be extended to a homomorphism from A′A' to LL.

Let p\mathfrak{p} be the kernel of ff, which is a prime ideal since f(A)⊂Lf(A) \subset L is an integral domain; let p′\mathfrak{p}' be a prime ideal of A′A' lying above p\mathfrak{p} (Theorem 1). Then A/pA/\mathfrak{p} is canonically identified with a subring of A′/p′A'/\mathfrak{p}' and A′/p′A'/\mathfrak{p}' is integral over A/pA/\mathfrak{p} (§1§ 1, no. 1, Proposition 2). The homomorphism ff defines, by taking the quotient, an isomorphism of A/pA/\mathfrak{p} onto the subring f(A)f(A) of LL, which can be extended to an isomorphism gg of the field of fractions KK of A/pA/\mathfrak{p} onto a subfield of LL. As the field of fractions K′K' of A′/p′A'/\mathfrak{p}' is algebraic over KK, gg can be extended to an isomorphism g′g' of K′K' onto a subfield of LL (Algebra, Chapter V, §4§ 4, no. 2, Corollary to Theorem 1); if π′:A′→A′/p′\pi': A' \to A'/\mathfrak{p}' is the canonical homomorphism, g′∘π′g' \circ \pi' is a homomorphism from A′A' to LL extending ff.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
