Commutative Algebra, chapter VI, § 3. Valuations

Let KK be a field, vv a valuation on KK and K′K' an extension of KK. There exists a valuation v′v' on K′K' whose restriction to KK is equivalent to vv.

Let Γv\Gamma_v and Γv′\Gamma_{v'} be the order groups of vv and v′v'. Since the restriction of v′v' to KK is equivalent to vv, there exists an isomorphism AA of Γv\Gamma_v onto a subgroup of Γv′\Gamma_{v'}, such that v′=A∘vv' = A \circ v on KK. If Γv\Gamma_v is identified with λ(Γv)\lambda(\Gamma_v) by means of λ\lambda, it is seen that v′v' extends vv.

Note that Γv′\Gamma_{v'} is in general distinct from λ(Γv)\lambda(\Gamma_v) and the equivalence class of v′v' is not necessarily unique. We shall return to this in § 8.

Translating Theorem 3 of § 1, no. 3 (or Proposition 6 of § 2, no. 5), we obtain:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
