Commutative Algebra, chapter VII, § 4. Modules over integrally closed Noetherian domains

Suppose that AA is a discrete valuation ring. Let A^\hat{A} be its completion and let K^\hat{K} be the field of fractions of A^\hat{A} (Chapter VI, § 5, no. 3). The mapping ϕ\phi, which maps every lattice MM of VV to the lattice A^M\hat{A}M of V^=V⊗KK^\hat{V} = V \otimes_K \hat{K} with respect to A^\hat{A}, is bijective and its inverse maps every lattice M′M' of V^\hat{V} with respect to A^\hat{A} to its intersection M′∩VM' \cap V (VV being canonically identified with a vector sub-K-space of V^\hat{V}).

If LL is a free lattice of VV, the lattices aLaL (for a∈A,a≠0a \in A, a \neq 0) form a fundamental system of neighbourhoods of 0 for a topology T\mathscr{T} on VV (compatible with its AA-module structure), which (when a basis of LL over AA is taken) is identified with the product topology on KnK^n); by virtue of Proposition 2, a fundamental system of neighbourhoods of 0 for T\mathscr{T} also consists of all the lattices of VV with respect to AA; clearly V^\hat{V} is the completion of VV with respect to T\mathscr{T}. Moreover, if mm is the maximal ideal of AA, the topology T\mathscr{T} induces on every lattice MM of VV with respect to AA the mm-adic topology since MM is a finitely generated AA-module (Chapter III, § 3, no. 2, Theorem 2) and A^M\hat{A}M is the completion of MM with respect to this topology (Chapter III, § 2, no. 12, Proposition 16); moreover, as MM is open (and therefore closed) in VV, A^M∩V=M\hat{A}M \cap V = M, which proves again the fact that †\dagger is injective (which follows directly from Proposition 4, (ii), since AA is a faithfully flat AA-module). Finally, if M′M' is a lattice of V^\hat{V} with respect to A^\hat{A}, M=M′∩VM = M' \cap V is a lattice of VV with respect to AA, for every element of A^\hat{A} is the product of an element of AA and an invertible element of A^\hat{A} and hence it follows from Proposition 2 that there exist a,ba, b in A−{0}A - \{0\} such that aA^L⊂M′⊂bA^La \hat{A}L \subset M' \subset b \hat{A}L, whence aL⊂M′∩V⊂bLaL \subset M' \cap V \subset bL. Moreover M′M' is open in VV and, as VV is dense in V^\hat{V}, M′M' is the completion of M′∩V=MM' \cap V = M; this proves that ϕ\phi is surjective, whence the corollary.

Example (6) Let SS be a multiplicative subset of AA not containing 0; we apply Proposition 4 to B=S−1AB = S^{-1}A; then L=KL = K, BM=S−1MBM = S^{-1}M; hence S−1MS^{-1}M is a lattice of VV with respect to S−1AS^{-1}A. Moreover:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
