Commutative Algebra, chapter VII, § 4. Modules over integrally closed Noetherian domains

Let V be a vector space of finite rank over K and M a lattice of V with respect to A.

(i) Let N be a lattice of V with respect to A; then, for every prime ideal p of A, NpN_p is a lattice of V with respect to A, and, for almost all p∈P,Np=Mpp \in P, N_p = M_p.

(ii) Conversely, suppose given for all p∈Pp \in P a lattice N(p)N(p) of V with respect to A, such that N(p)=MpN(p) = M_p for almost all p∈Pp \in P. Then N=⋂N(p)N = \bigcap N(p) is a reflexive lattice of A with respect to A and it is the only reflexive lattice N′N' of V with respect to A such that Np′=N(p)N'_p = N(p) for all p∈Pp \in P.

(i) The first assertion follows from no. 1, Proposition 4. Moreover, there exist x,yx, y in K∗\mathbf{K}^* such that xN⊂M⊂yNxN \subset M \subset yN (no. 1, Proposition 2); we know that, for almost all p∈P,vp(x)=vp(y)=0p \in P, v_p(x) = v_p(y) = 0 (§1§ 1, no. 6, Theorem 4), which shows that xx and yy are invertible in AA, and hence Mp=NpM_p = N_p.

(ii) We may replace MM by x−1Mx^{-1}M where x≠0x \neq 0 in AA and assume that N(p)⊂MN(p) \subset M, for all p∈Pp \in P. Let p1,…,php_1, \ldots, p_h be the elements of PP such that N(p)=MN(p) = M, for pp distinct from the pip_i (1≤i≤h1 \leq i \leq h); we write:

Q=M∩N(p1)∩⋯∩N(ph). Q = M \cap N(p_1) \cap \cdots \cap N(p_h).

As each of the N(pi)N(p_i) contain a free lattice with respect to ApiA_{p_i}, it contains a fortiori a lattice of VV with respect to AA, hence QQ contains a lattice of VV with respect to AA (no. 1, Proposition 3) and, as QQ is contained in MM, QQ is a lattice with respect to AA. To prove that Qp=N(p)Q_p = N(p) for all p∈Pp \in P, we shall use the following lemma:

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
