Algebra, chapter I, § 6. Extensions, solvable groups, nilpotent groups

(1) In the group Sp\mathfrak{S}_p let ζ\zeta be a cycle of order pp. The subgroup generated by ζ\zeta is a Sylow pp-subgroup of Sp\mathfrak{S}_p for pp does not divide (p−1)!(p - 1)!. (2) Let k be a finite field of characteristic pp and let n be a positive integer. The strict triangular group T1(n,k)T_1(n, k) is a Sylow pp-subgroup of the group GL(n,k)\mathbf{GL}(n, k).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
