Algebra, chapter V, § 9. Conjugate elements and quasi-Galois extensions

— Let E′E' be an extension of K and E, K′K' two subextensions of E′E'. Suppose that E is quasi-Galois over K and E′=K′(E)E' = K'(E); then E′E' is quasi-Galois over K′K'.

Let (fi)i∈I(f_i)_{i \in I} be a family of non-constant polynomials in K[X]K[X] whose splitting field over KK is EE. Then it is clear that E′E' is the splitting field of the family (fi)i∈I(f_i)_{i \in I} over K′K', so it is quasi-Galois over K′K'.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
