Algebra, V, p. 55, § 9. Conjugate elements and quasi-Galois extensions

Let EE be an algebraic extension of KK and x,yx, y two elements of EE. If there exists a KK-automorphism of EE which maps xx to yy then xx and yy have the same minimal polynomial over KK and so are conjugate over KK by Prop. 2 (V, p. 52). The converse holds if EE is quasi-Galois, because every KK-automorphism of Ω\Omega induces a KK-automorphism of EE. The hypothesis that EE be quasi-Galois is not superfluous as the following example shows: \* let K=QK = \mathbf{Q} and Ω\Omega the field of all algebraic numbers; put E=Ω∩RE = \Omega \cap \mathbf{R}. It may be shown (V, p. 153, Ex. 2) that every automorphism of EE is the identity mapping and that 2\sqrt{2} and −2-\sqrt{2} are elements of EE conjugate over Q\mathbf{Q}. \*

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
