Algebra, V, p. 72, § 10. Galois extensions

Let NN be a Galois extension of KK. Suppose that the Galois group Γ\Gamma of NN over KK is the direct product of two closed subgroups Γ1\Gamma_1 and Γ2\Gamma_2 and denote by EiE_i the field of invariants of Γi\Gamma_i for i=1,2i = 1, 2. Then the canonical homomorphism of E1⊗KE2E_1 \otimes_K E_2 into NN is an isomorphism.

We have E1∩E2=KE_1 \cap E_2 = K and N=K(E1∪E2)N = K(E_1 \cup E_2) by Cor. 6 (V, p. 69), and so it is enough to apply Theorem 5.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
