Topological Vector Spaces, chapter II, § 6. Weak topologies

— Let G1G_1 and G2G_2 be two vector subspaces of F∗F^*, in duality with FF (for the restriction of the canonical bilinear form). Then σ(F,G2)\sigma(F, G_2) is finer than σ(F,G1)\sigma(F, G_1) if and only if G1⊂G2G_1 \subset G_2.

The condition is obviously sufficient; conversely, if σ(F,G2)\sigma(F, G_2) is finer than σ(F,G1)\sigma(F, G_1), then every linear form that is continuous for σ(F,G1)\sigma(F, G_1) is also continuous for σ(F,G2)\sigma(F, G_2), hence G1⊂G2G_1 \subset G_2 by prop. 3.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
