Topological Vector Spaces, II, p. 52, § 6. Weak topologies

Let EE be a Hausdorff weak space and CC a proper cone with vertex 0 in EE, that is complete for the uniform structure induced by that of EE. Every continuous linear form in EE is then the difference between two continuous linear forms in EE that are positive in CC.

Let E′E' be the dual of EE and FF be the algebraic dual of E′E', with the topology σ(F,E′)\sigma(F, E'). Let H=C∘−C∘H = C^\circ - C^\circ be the vector subspace of E′E' formed by the differences of linear forms that are continuous in EE and positive in CC (II, p. 44, prop. 4). It is sufficient to show that the orthogonal to HH in FF is {0}\{0\} (II, p. 41, Example 1). Then let a∈Fa \in F be orthogonal to HH; as aa is orthogonal to C∘C^\circ, it must belong to the bipolar of CC in FF. But EE is identifiable as a subspace of FF, and since CC is complete, thus closed in FF, we have a∈Ca \in C (II, p. 44, th. 1). Similarly aa is orthogonal to −C∘-C^\circ and therefore a∈−Ca \in -C. As CC is proper, we have a=0a = 0.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
