Topological Vector Spaces, chapter III, § 3. Spaces of continuous linear mappings

— 1) The S\mathfrak{S}*-topology* is identical with the S′\mathfrak{S}'*-topology*, where S′\mathfrak{S}' denotes the bornology generated by S\mathfrak{S} (III, p. 1).

2) Let M∈SM \in \mathfrak{S} and let V be a neighbourhood of 0 in F; let T(M,V)T(M, V) denote the set of all f∈FEf \in F^E such that f(x)∈Vf(x) \in V for every x∈Mx \in M. If S\mathfrak{S} is stable under finite unions, the sets T(M,V)T(M, V) form a fundamental system of neighbourhoods of 0 for the S\mathfrak{S}*-topology* of FEF^E.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
