Topological Vector Spaces, III, p. 14, § 3. Spaces of continuous linear mappings

If S\mathfrak{S} is the set of compact (resp. precompact, compact convex) subsets, then the S\mathfrak{S}-topology is called the topology of compact (resp. precompact, compact convex) convergence and the space LS(E;F)\mathscr{L}_{\mathfrak{S}}(E; F) is also denoted by Lc(E;F)\mathscr{L}_c(E; F) (resp. Lpc(E;F)\mathscr{L}_{pc}(E; F), Lcc(E;F)\mathscr{L}_{cc}(E; F)). (Cf. IV, p. 48, exerc. 7.)

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
