Topological Vector Spaces, chapter V, § 1. Prehilbertian spaces and hilbertian spaces

In order that the family (xi)i∈I(x_i)_{i \in I} of points of a hilbertian space E be total, it is necessary and sufficient that the relations ⟨xi∣y⟩=0\langle x_i|y \rangle = 0 for y∈Ey \in E and for all indices i∈Ii \in I imply that y=0y = 0.

In fact, this says that 0 is the only vector of E' which is orthogonal to all the xix_i (II, p. 43 and IV, p. 1).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
