Functions of a Real Variable, chapter I, § 2. THE MEAN VALUE THEOREM

Let ff be a continuous differentiable function of a complex variable defined on a convex open subset AA of the field C\mathbf{C}, with values in a normed space EE over the field C\mathbf{C}. If one has ∥f′(z)∥≤m\|f'(z)\| \leq m for all z∈Az \in A, then one has ∥f(b)−f(a)∥≤m∣b−a∣\|f(b) - f(a)\| \leq m |b - a| for every pair of points a,ba, b of AA.

We put g(t)=1b−af(a+t(b−a))g(t) = \frac{1}{b - a} f(a + t(b - a)) for 0≤t≤10 \leq t \leq 1; since g′(t)=f′(a+t(b−a))g'(t) = f'(a + t(b - a)), applying th. 2 to the function gg yields the proposition immediately.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
