Functions of a Real Variable, chapter I, § 2. THE MEAN VALUE THEOREM

For a vector function ff of a complex variable, defined and continuous on an open set A⊂CA \subset \mathbf{C}, and with values in a normed space over C\mathbf{C}, to be constant, it suffices that it have zero derivative at every point of AA.

Indeed, let aa be an arbitrary point of AA; the set BB of points zz of AA where f(z)=f(a)f(z) = f(a) is closed because ff is continuous; it is also open, as is shown by applying prop. 4 (with m=0m = 0) to a convex open neighbourhood, contained in AA, of an arbitrary point of BB; so is identical to AA.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
